Systematic construction site management

Digital processes for organization and security

On construction sites, there are numerous processes that can be structured and handled by intelligent software solutions – no problem for our visitor management system JAMES. Numerous functions such as the handling of safety instructions for workers, checklists for coming and going, registration of goods and assembly points in the event of an evacuation are supported by JAMES right from the start.

The connection to the access control system is one of the most basic functions of the software. The data thus generated is evaluated by the system and thus helps to determine the number of people on the premises in real time. In the event of an evacuation, the fire department can thus obtain an exact overview.

Furthermore, JAMES@work can of course also be used for the time recording of workers. In the event of an inspection by the authorities, lists of the employees present can be printed out and handed over at the push of a button. This way you create a continuous transparency.

Other functions such as safety instructions and briefings can be carried out either in advance via an online platform or directly on site via a terminal. And the administration or registration of goods or tools is also possible in JAMES, as is the planning of spot checks.

The most important buzzwords for the modern working world

In order to be able to integrate seamlessly into existing processes, a connection to already existing and very different hardware and software is naturally required. Therefore, we attached great importance to the highest possible degree of flexibility in the development of our visitor management system.

“Coming and Leaving” Checklists

Keep track of who is on the premises at what time. This data is obtained by connecting JAMES to your access control and is recorded in real time in the system. This information can also be evaluated and used for evacuation as well as for time recording.

Time sheet comparison (time recording)

By checking in employees and contractors at the entrance, you not only receive data on who is on the site, but also exact information on the periods during which the workers are on the site. You can also use this data for time recording.

Attendances in real time

Immediately after check-in or check-out, the data is updated in the system in real time. So you know at any time who is on the site.

Instruction management

Instruction and training can be carried out in advance via the system and even conveniently from home or at our self check-in terminals at the entrance. This saves time and equalizes the situation at the entrance. Of course, all documents are stored and archived by our system. This also ensures complete documentation.

Spot check

Tools and work materials cannot continue to be stolen unnoticed, JAMES offers the possibility of spot checks. These can be planned and controlled via JAMES. The ability to store notes on individual persons or groups of persons means that security staff know who needs to be checked.

Evacuation (assembly point)

Rapid and comprehensive evacuation of employees and contractors can sometimes be difficult. To counteract this, our systems are networked with each other (integrated solutions). This means that information about the number and location of visitors and outside companies on your premises can be evaluated in real time. In this way, you can ensure that people from outside the company can be notified and evacuated in the event of an alarm. In addition, our assembly point solutions and our control system provide you with further options for evacuation.

Goods declaration / tool

The registration of goods or tools can also be handled completely via JAMES. This allows you to keep track of who owns which tool and which goods were delivered at what time and by whom. This ensures complete documentation.

Support during inspections by authorities (customs, etc.)

Lists of employees present can be output in the shortest possible time, e.g. for customs. Since each access is recorded in real time, the lists are always up-to-date and transparent.
