metaSEC is active in the market since 2003 and was founded by Lukas Ziaja.
Originally the metaSEC was active as an IT system integrator in the field of Open Source / Linux . In the following years, a focus was held on the section Voice over IP as a strategic core competency.
Since then, we grew both as a company and as a team and we developed continually.
With currently six employees in the development and support, we operate both – the development of our own standard products and project-specific development on the subject of safety-critical voice transmission. The multi-faceted knowledge that we have gained in numerous international projects, we can provide to our customers.
Since about 2009, we are increasingly in partnership with major technology companys in the form of an outsourced development – this is the idea of the Think Tank
WHAT DOES METASEC PROVIDE?
We solve challenges in the field of critical language processes such as emergency call, alarming or intercom (counter-intercom systems). Our core product is the »MZF«. With this, we cover a wide range of critical processes in a modern manner.
Our experience is, however, the greatest advantage in the continuous integration of all critical processes from a single source.
A simple example: The visitor management JAMES manages the guest, informs him on his way over the terrain through smart MIDAS-terminals and in the case of evacuation, the alarm server ROGER aware of its presence.
These concerted processes create the holistic security model as we imagine it.

WELCOME TO THE »THINK TANK«
A small team is often more efficient and faster than a large organization. Industrial partners increasingly take advantage of this and outsource their research and development to metaSEC.
At the beginning of a new project there are often questions like »Is it technically possible?« and »Can you do this, too?«.
The goal is not always a finished product, sometimes and for the moment, it is about answering outstanding questions on the basis of a prototype.
The development as part of a think tank allows us a practical view from the perspective of customers and a product design which is present – and future-oriented.
