Logo_JamesThrough very close cooperation with nationwide security service providers, we have further developed our JAMES software solution and adapted it to the needs of the security industry. In the process, all security-relevant aspects that are crucial for everyday processes have been incorporated. For example, the software bundles existing data, such as that from access control, cameras or other hardware and software solutions, and brings it together centrally in our process management system. The central management of all channels and data represents the greatest benefit for security staff here.

Now it is possible to control and monitor all processes from one system. Especially due to the use of diverse devices from a wide range of security technology manufacturers, this was always a problem in the past. In addition, JAMES offers a wealth of functions that relieve and support reception staff. In addition to self check-in via our kiosks, these include security briefings, pre-registration of external companies and, of course, the ubiquitous data protection.

The most important buzzwords for a modern security process

In order to be able to integrate seamlessly into existing processes, a connection to already existing and very different hardware and software is naturally required. Therefore, we attached great importance to the highest possible degree of flexibility in the development of our visitor management system.

Browser-based visitor management software to manage all contractor and visitor processes

Web app for pre-registration via mobile devices. External companies and visitors can register in advance and from all end devices.

Training and briefings at the kiosk terminal or in the web portal to ensure operational safety (can also be coupled with access control)

The moderated reception

Security personnel and software hand in hand

In the moderated reception concept, the reception staff is virtually present in the room and proactively welcomes the visitor by approaching him/her with all the information at hand on a tablet carried along. Extensively equipped PC workstations for reception staff are no longer necessary, as the most important administrative processes can be handled in advance and on the kiosk systems. All the important information needed to greet and, if necessary, assist the guest in a professional manner is recorded in the JAMES visitor management system. This enables the visitor or tradesperson to navigate completely independently through the check-in process and provide training and safety briefings. Verification of test or vaccination statuses related to Corona is also possible directly at the kiosk.

A connection to the most common access control as well as time recording systems also enables a self-sufficient check-in including the issuance of an access authorization. Thus, for example, recurring suppliers or even employees can enter the building quickly and easily after confirming their instructions. JAMES logs every visitor entering and leaving the premises in compliance with the German Data Protection Act (DSGVO) and thus ensures a high level of operational security.
